Default 144/145 front wings ?

Hello all – can anybody help me establish what model the front wings in the attached images are for. As my old man has owned 140 and 240 volvo models i am pretty sure the wings are for the 140 series. Can anyone advise whether there is a difference in the front wings of the saloon and estate versions and if indeed these are 140 series wings what model and years apply. The items (pair) have been dry stored for at least 20 years and some crude painting with what looks like yellow hammerite have inadvertently helped in preserving them in very good condition. Once i establish which model they relate to they are likely to be advertised for sale.

Those wings are from a late-model 144/145 (same on estate and saloon). The cut-outs for the high level indicators (adjacent the headlamps) mean post about 1972 cars: no doubt others on here will confirm. Mine has low-down indicator cutouts as its a 1968 car.

If sound they are perhaps desirable as they usually rot around the indicator, a known rust trap.

Hello all,

These items are for sale and open to sensible offers. I've put them on here first rather than the ebay route. Items are located in Halifax West Yorkshire. Anybody interested please contact 07766115290.
