insurance
Yes you'd get insurance it might be worth having a look at the general chats at whats happening with newly qualified insurance.
Try Adrian Flux too and keep searching those comparison sites as it seems insuraners are currently quoting high for newly qualified drivers Charlotte

I think insurance is still gonna be hefty for a 23yr old on a T5 - I'm 24 with 5yrs NCB and it's still pretty expensive. However, S/V40 T4's are significantly cheaper to insure, offer the same performance as standard, are cheaper to fuel and look prettier (alright, no 5 pot sound ). I've never driven a T5 but having owned an S40 T4 I'd be surprised if a T5 would be able to handle as well too, stock vs stock...

Don't think insurance would be too bad at 23, I'm 20 and I'm £700 to insure an 850 T5.

Today I was quoted £4618 but have been quoted as low as £1800 in recent months on the same comparison website!! It all depends on when and where you look.

Try Chris Knott Insurance on the front page of here, they beat most of my quotes by quite alot
also, be careful as with my 740 it was cheaper to insure it fully comp than it was to insure it TPFT

I think it depends on a lot of things, postcode and employment type can make a big difference..... mileage allowance on the policy..... adding an older driver who has a decent no claims history (mum/dad?) as a 'second driver' on the policy can reduce things quite a bit.
I'm 23, live in a roughish postcode, 2yrs NCB, had my license since 12/2004 and insuring a T5 is still 1200 with a 350 excess........ that is fully comp. I have always found bell to be the cheapest and comparison websites to be pretty decent. I have tried flux/knott and you always seem to have to sit through hours on the phone to be given a stupidly high quote........ although I am bias as I prefer to do it all online if possible.
