Default Brake noise

I have had my XC60 for a couple of weeks. It is due back at the dealer next week for some warning light fixes, but has now developed a braking issue.

When setting off I sometimes hear a clicking noise, if I brake when it's clicking, there is a pronounced banging which I can feel through the brake pedal.

This is on light braking and after a couple of applications all is fine.

Anyone else experienced this?
I have registered my concern with my dealer so it will be looked at soon.

The clicking is possibly the EPB releasing (do you manually release or let the car release?) The other sound appears more like the ABS kicking in from your description - has the road been icy or has it lots of leaves on it?

Thanks for the reply.
I always let the car release the epb. Sounds more from the front though.
Defo not ABS, much too slow pulsing. it sort of feels like a pad or caliper moving about.

Its back to the dealer anyway on Monday but I may just whip the wheels off at the weekend to check that nothing is about to fall apart.
The fact that it quickly dissapears leads me to think that its not too serious.
