strange limp mode issue!
Hi All,
Ive got a 2005 P2 D5, she was totally fine till the core plug went, I booked her into my local indy who done a great job fixing the core plug, they found a hole in the intercooler as I asked them to source the hissing noise, between the week that the core plug was fixed and the intercooler was changed she starting going into limp mode on and off and I put this down to the boost leak but after having the intercooler replaced the garage told me it was running fine apart from going into limp mode and cutting out they put her on there computer and the fault code was telling them camshaft sensor was at fault they replaced it and the fault was still there they checked all the things they touched while removing the gearbox but couldn't find the reason and its now doing my head in as its random when it doesn't it and wondered if anyone on here had the same thing happen!! theres so many sensors on there that intertwine with others its hard to work out and the garage are puzzled too!! HELP PLEASE! many thanks adam

You would be better off asking in the correct forum section. This one is for the post 2007 P3 cars.
