'13 V70 R Design - Remap - Page 2

On the basis of this discussion I have just booked both my cars for a Superchips upgrade. I like the moderate power increase they offer - and the £100 off if booked before the end of April :-) I'll let you know how it goes (or they go?). I had been thinking about the Celtic Tuning upgrade - more power, but, perhaps, rather more than I needed. I tend to take any Polestar power increase as a sensible uplift and a guide to where I should be aiming. I had a previous C30 (2.0D - the Ford engine) remapped by Hamish Lindsay at Bromsgrove (full rolling road job) and that was awesome - 180bhp and 400+ torque - it was so effortless on the road and really, really fast. It certainly sorted the low down lack of go that afflicts modern diesel engines tuned for emissions...

And no Polestar upgrades available for the D3/D4 engine in my V70, or the Peugeot derived 1.6 in my wife's C30 D2

Hi, Polestar upgrade also on offer at Marshalls Volvo Leeds for £599. I persuaded Clive Brook Volvo Bradford to match this as I have just bought a V90 D4 from them at last week`s Selekt used car event. Collecting next week :-)

Sorry if I'm being stupid but I'm confused about your V70 engine which you list as a D3/D4 ??

Hang on, the 1.6 psa engine is excellent and tunable. Is it Volvo software/ecu that is the block?
