V40 D2 13plate blower intermittent

Hi all,

First post on the forum, am a new owner of a low milage 13 plate V40 which I love, fantastic car but wondered if anyone can shed light on either an intermittent fault or something I'm doing?

My wife drives the car mainly and swears it ONLY happens when I drive it, I think differently.

Temperature for both sides is Low, car starts with AC off and Climate control un-lit (off) but am getting no output from the fan regardless of the display saying it's at full speed etc. Tried clicking AC or Climate control, but nothing changes. Sometimes works as normal, other times is dead. Is it something I'm sound wrong or any faults that are known by these symptoms. Have searched but not seeing anything.

I leave the automatic climate control on all the time with the temperature set at 20 degrees. Each time I start the car it defaults to that setting. If I manually alter the fan speed then the speed will increase as shown on the display. If your car is not doing this then it sounds like there may be something wrong. Perhaps you can get it looked at under warranty if you have just bought the car?
