Why!
Hi all,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-Volvo...AAAOSw1VRZi0mV A link from a recent ebay listing click if you dare. Surly even a poor example of a Torslander would have had a better chance of selling, I'm all for having fun with your wheels but I'm a little puzzled with this one. It would have probably cost far less making a ropy Torslander good rather than creating this abomination. Now a days it seems every visit to ebay garners a classic of the marque being marketed as a drift/banger race project or 'rat look" which in my day was a real scene where the work was done to a high standard a la street machine and custom car magazines of years gone by. Why do people insist in ruining cars in the search for a quick buck, where some elbow grease and a few quid can get said car in rude health with MOT etc and a classic has been rescued from the clutches of the crusher. You never see Audi TTs or 15 year old Laguna's being sold for banger projects etc. Just my two Bob's worth. Scott |

Because all the Audis get written off/too difficult to fix, and Renaults self destruct too easily.

This Torslanda has been ruined for sure, but at least it is for sale and could be rescued by some poor fool. I suspect a brief competition future awaits it though... |

I think it's strangely appealing, in a horrible kind of way.
I like the white wall tyres - they go well with those wire-look alloys. |
