Climate temperature control knob repair or replace
Hi. I need some help/ advice on this. My 2008 XC90 Climate temperature control knob on passenger side (circled in picture) just constantly turns round without stopping.
Its like the "circuit track" has come undone or something. Can this part be replaced or repaired? Has anyone else experienced this on their XC90? Will appreciate any advice on this as the passengers side just blows hot air when i use the aircon |

Is it a mechanical issue, ie: the knob spins around on the spindle? If so, a new knob might fix it (if the knob is broken)
Or is the switch itself physically broken? If the switch is broken, the Volvo repair is to replace the CCM module. A DIY repair would be to get a donor CCM from eg eBay, remove the switch from the donor and fit to your CCM. Soldering skills will be required.
