200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Why would you want to do that, or am I misunderstanding something?

It's an illustration of the 240 driving position in relation to the steering wheel - ie even with the seat right back one is by modern standards very close to the steering wheel, almost like the classic vintage sports car.

The indicator tick-tick in my car seemed to be getting quieter and quieter. Then I got my new hearing aids......

That might indeed be an extremely lengthy list!

I couldn't exactly recommend deafness as a lifestyle choice, but being able to switch off - literally - from some conversations is something of a bonus!
