Default RR Velar & Jaguar F-Pace - Beautifully rendered CGI Video

Hello folks,

This popped up on the RR Velar forum and I thought you might like to take a look too?

https://youtu.be/ZcwKv8seD9A

Enjoy. It's just 2.5mins long. I am not into these video games but I must admit that CGI rendering has come a long way since Colin McCrae Rally on PlayStation 1 back in the late-1990s.

Pretty soon, if you can't afford a Bentley Bentayga and that's your thing (not mine) then just create one in virtual world!

Looking around at Xmas for summer delivery - on the list:

V90
Velar (bottom of range, only just in reach)
Stelvio
5 series estate
Maserati Ghibli (restricted mileage)

Or might go used/ cheap:

Audi A8
CL 500

I would need to do a 530 personally as the fleet scheme has a CO2 limit and that means 520 - or at least it used to.

I passed the worlds smallest road-going Aston Martin the other day - one of these.
Made me smile.
Wouldn't like to be doing anything other than inner city driving in one, mind you....he was on the A14....in the not-so-fast lane!!

That would be a personal lease too and on 8000 a year, so its a remote possibility.

There is also a Ferrari (Fiat 500) and A Maserati (Alfa Romeo) Mito, both were never for sale, but were courteousy cars, those that were sold off were £30K plus, they had styling and marque specific interiors, but no new bodywork.

Well to bring my journey full circle, I cancelled the Porsche as it was a bit too brash for me - and even the reaction when I told people what I had ordered. Plus despite all of the tales of great residuals, because of the near £70k purchase price the absolute £s lost were high...

Instead I have ordered an Audi SQ5. There isn't a lot of love for Audi on here it seems but it ticks all of the boxes for me personally - reasonably quick, discrete, refined, decent quality and decent spec and tech. Collect on the 2nd Sept as I went for a stock car - makes me really think about what I have to have, not the options that sound good on paper. Decent deal and so far good service - travelling a fair way for it but it's the dealer I bought my last Audi from and he is getting the benefit of being good then and making the effort to keep in touch.

And it's not grey, black, white or dark blue - gone for Matador Red which I expect will be a marmite colour but it will at least be different and was my first choice all along (and similar if I had gone XC60 with the dark metallic red).
