Thumbs down Volvo V60 D2 Auto Problem

Hi All,

I have had my D2 from new and it has done less than 5000 miles to date, it has been back to the local Marshalls here in Nottingham on two occations (Not a good experience), one to have recall work on the EGR valve and one for its first annual service.

On both occations I have reported the fact that when the car is neither hot nor cold when starting and moving off on light throttle the car kangaroos uncontrollably.

They reported no issues but it is really disapointing as my XC60 D5 Auto with 130000 miles is a much nicer drive.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, obviously not bad enaough to for the brain to log it as a problem so technician says no problem.

If it's a back and forward movement, around 1200-1400 RPM, thats normal... Or at least lots of this cars(1.6 D2) do the same...

Surprised you say that is normal if it happened to me I would have a go at dealer and say I want this sorted as it is far from normal.

The newers D2 are a different engine. Starting with 2015, they swapped to a 2 litre engine.

On my 1.6 I get the same in first gear, it "jumps" sometimes when I slowly apply throttle.
