OP. As I indicated a couple of posts back I suspect (fear) that I know the franchise you are dealing with. My V90 is due to go in in for it's first service immediately after Christmas and I would like to be forewarned. I appreciate your reluctance to name the dealer but do you think you could send me a personal message on the matter. It goes without saying that I will respect your confidence.

@Boatie - dealer is in Berks and I wouldn't worry needlessly

@AndyV7o - yes its already in and i'm not worried. Theoretically should provide better protection with drop in economy

@Clan - not sure what to say

It would have been best if they held their hand up and either offered a refund, replacement or offered to do the oil change as a gesture of good will (and kept my original payment)
