mte/tme and rica
ok got the car in my sig with WI. all i want is some custom maps for WI. now previosly i spoke to Stuart of SWAUTO's who was gonna sort something with Marco, but thats quite obviously not happening now, and to be honest im loosing my rag with mte/tme cause ive sent two emails to there info address and not had one reply in a week. quite frankely the way things are going im gonna go rica despite what some people have said, at least Adam could be bothered to put forward his services, and rica replied my email within two days.
im finding that there are some people who cant help enough like Don of Kalmar Union and Richard Lamb of Aquamist, and others that seem to think weve got bottomless pockets. end of rant. now what i want to know is whos got some fracken experience of tunning volvo's with WI?

Due to demand, I believe that Marco (MTE) is away mapping cars in Singapore and the States. Therefore he doesn't always have access to email services. Hi Cypher007,
From your post, it seems unclear to me if you are aware that Don Norchi from Kalmar Union is the nominated UK distributor of all MTE/TME products, including software, so he should be your first port of call if you want a MTE/TME remap. As already pointed out, he does have, in his software library, maps for your car which take the water injection system fitted on the car into account. Since your past experience has shown that he can't help enough, and there are a large number of his customers who will attest to that, I'm sure he'll do just the same if you approach him with any questions you have and also if a TME remap is what you're really after. As has been pointed out yet again, Marco Alsterfalk is currently in continental Europe, afterwhich he's off to the USA and then to the Far East, so its perhaps unsurprising that he's taking longer than usual to reply to your email. |

Indeed, being a jet setting remapper he is hard to track down sometimes lol.
As Ashok has said Don Norchi is your best port of call for MTE/TME stuff, as he is the UK distributor and ties in closely with Marco, while it can be a bit frustrating getting a hold of the man himself his service is outstanding, speaking from personal experience of driving Jacqs car while Marco mapped it, he will get the best out of your car for you. ive read some of your other posts and it seems your running rich. is this down to the software or the fact the software was design for the car with everything else being standard? what sort of effects did you experience after the software was added, was it added before or after the injector/turbo upgrade. im only curious cause i dont really want to buy a standard map only to find it needs re-tunning later. im not planning on replacing the standard turbo or injectors, i might add a new down pipe with race cat and cat back later. so if the standard TME WI map is fine on a standard car ill go for this.
roughly how much does a custom Marco map cost anyway.

yes i know and as i have said before i wish Stuart and family my best wishes. i wasnt aiming specifically at any one person or company in my winge, but my general experience of the last few months trying to get some help to get the very best out of the car before my missus starts talking up the idea of having babies, kinda like a midlife crisis early, spend it while i can sort of thing.

also what size water jet are you running? and the 2d upgrade ive just fitted is real cool. for my next trick i plan to fit a gauge to tell me my injector duty, as the 2d has a wire that feeds this info in the form of a 0-5v signal, useful for finding out if your injectors are maxed out.
