Default smoking

Hi I have noticed on my 03 S60 D5 that when I sometimes have put my foot down and I look in my rear view mirror I have left a smoke haze behind is this nornal for a D5 or have I got problem looming. just had mot 2 months ago and passed smoke test, it has done 65k.

is that day time or night, check all intake and turbo hoses for splits, check the intercooler at the bottom for signs of a oil leak.

Thanks I only seem to notice it in the day time it does not bellow smoke just a smoke haze

that's normal, if there was a lot then i would be looking at the pipes and intercooler.

mine did that, it was like it for 200k miles never caused a problem.

If the smoke is black and the performance a bit sluggish check the intercooler.

Have a look at the oil level, on my S60-D5, if I have it at the max level it makes a little smoke, if I keep it at halfway between max and min, its fine.
