Default V70 d3 map sensors

I'm finally getting around to troubleshooting a boost issue on the v70. It's had a boost issue since I got it.
It is lumpy to drive no power down low and then the boost comes in all of a sudden around 1800 rpm. It then pulls all over the road with torque steer. It feels and sounds to over boost then, there is a slight wine from the turbo like its under far too much pressure.
It's got fault codes p003a85 and p029900
It's been smoke tested for leaks and has none. I'm certain it's over boosting although reporting under. I've read identical problems on the v60 threads but no conclusions.
I suspect faulty map sensor. Everyone suggests the sensor on the intercooler but the only map sensor I can see is on the intake manifold. Can anyone confirm it has more than one map sensor.

It does indeed have 2 map sensors and one is faulty. Due to lock down I have not yet got the new part

Let me know how you get on with this please?
I know you re-built this engine from the dead and I'm very impressed.

My D3 has fault codes at the moment (one is overboost), the battery is getting low and can only get driven once or twice a month if it's lucky. The errors seem to coincide with the time the engine is switched off after it's been driven.

Never got around to getting a replacement yet. I unplugged the bad sensor and it drives reasonably well and no warning lights either. If work gets quiet some time il get around to it but it's at the bottom of my to do list at the moment
