Default V50 1.6 DrivE Clutch Change (Not a self adjusting clutch)

Hi Guys,

Going through the planning phase of organising a new clutch. Bought the part (Genuine clutch / flywheel - same part numbers listed on the VIDA profile) - however unlike my old 2.0d it's not a self adjusting clutch. While that's the case, VIDA is still showing that the compression tool should be used to change the clutch (Even though the 3d illustration shows the clutch isn't self adjusting. I can tell that as when I go into my old 2.0d profile it shows the same tool with a self adjusting clutch).

I just wanted to check I'm not going mad - do I need a compression tool to fit a clutch that isn't self adjusting? I've got a clutch aligning tool, but I didn't think I would need a compression tool.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm even confused why it isn't self-adjusting - it seems some DrivE's are, and some aren't. Really odd.

Cheers in advance.

Tom.
