Default 2ltr diesel injector replacement problems

my car a 2ltr diesel v50 has done over a hundred and eighty thousand miles and for a while has developed a stutter in acceleration and seems to miss a beat like a misfire i researched this and came to the conclusion it was a symptomatic of a bad or blocked injector so considering the miles and sure in the belief that it was running the original injectors i obtained some refurbished intending to do the lot, today i did so but now the car wont rev much past one thousand rpm mark at this point i replaced all back thinking maybe this would help but no, so if you could tell me do i have to reset the ecu or something? use my car for work so stuck without it any help would be much appreciated thank you.

Is your V50 a 2.0d, a D3 or a D4?

a sorry tale but learn
BAA thanks for the reply all plugs snug, Sotosound thanks, i think its a d2 4 cylinder front wheel drive is now running and retracing my steps i made two errors which caused problems firstly neglected to remove the key from the ignition complete when commencing work i disconnected the battery quite correctly but as said key still in ignition second mistake once all was running but at this point limp mode was to unplug injectors while it was running testing for change in performance the engine was still warm so helped keep it going so returning for round two today and no start... fortunately i had access to a Snap-On diagnostic tool it found the false reading cleared them and all is well again thanks guys

hi I'm back seems the story isn't over just yet i ordered a new fuel return line to finish the job properly a single use item and fitted it today but now i have a new problem it seems that the final stretch of pipe coming from the last injector in the line and leading to a junction box will not stay on and is forced off by the pressure i have no clue what the problem is considering everything is push fit why wont it stay on? I've cleaned and dried the fittings but still gets forced off I'm so close to being back on the road verry frustrating any help would be much appreciated thanks

in conclusion, the pressure build up a blockage the culprit the junction after the last injector the returning worm diesel is split inside that fitting a small inlet that in my case was well blocked that now cheaply replaced
