Default Seat lumbar support broken again

So this seems to happen every 5 years or so with me...might have put on some extra weight recently

Its the usual problem were the very thin (0.5mm) steel clip that holds the fabric strip to the adjustable tensioner simply breaks or tears off.
The last time I tried to add some support with epoxy reinforcement, but didn't seem to make any difference.

I doubt they are available new now, so does anyone have an effective upgrade/frabrication for the spring bit?

I'm planning to replace with a 1.2mm stainless part that I shall make tomorrow.

Got any pictures of the problem?

In the picture there are 2 hooks, 1 is sheared off, the other is half sheared and had bent out releasing the strap, I bent it back for the picture to show how they go together.

It just makes the seat really uncomfortable your arse sits on the hinge pole for the back because you are sitting further back.

Well I made a replacement piece with some 1mm steel. The 1.2mm stainless cracked when I tried to bend it, maybe too much of a hit with a sharp chisel to start it. Working so far but its pretty stressed.

For proper parts you can get them (the whole plastic and metal assembly) from skandix for EUR8 + shipping. They did once have the clip for 72c but discontinued. There is a plastic clip but looks like it would not fit (edit to add - this is for the other side apparently).

The broken clip is 1265067
