Just a wee update, sorry I didn't take any pics though.

I just did my N/S 2005 S60 headlight with the 3M kit this morning (the O/S was fine) using my Bosch 18v cordless drill and two batteries.

I removed the front bumper as it only takes a couple of minutes and makes it far less likely to catch the paintwork.

Took my time and spent about a hour on it and the headlight looks 95% new now, before it looked truly awful and I was sure I'd need to replace it.

Best £20 I've spent in a while and i still have plenty of the kit left to do another headlight in the future.

Thanks all have just ordered the 3M kit & will obtain a drill to do the deed.
Hopefully will remember to do some pics to boot

done mine at the weekend lads used a metal polish called white diamond which i use on my wagon at work and it fetched them both up a treat 15 quid a bottle and just polished them by hand !! hope this helps

Got some of the white diamond stuff & polished them both up at the weekend. Excellent result & no need for a drill.

3M kit to be returned now.
