Default I bought a 940 for drifting

Hello fellas.

Not so long ago I asked you for advice on what Volvo to buy for a drift car.

So a week ago I finally bought a 1992 Volvo 940 sedan, B230BF , 5 speed manual with LPG.

For now what I've done to it, is:
Weld the diff
Cut the springs(lowered it)
Replaced the distributor(the idle was uneven)
Today the head gasket blew but I will take care of it after the holidays

Is there anything I should take a closer look at or should watch out for while beating on the car?
How reliable is the gearbox, is it the m47 if it's a 1992 5 speed manual?
For now the engine will stay NA so I'm not worried about it too much but I'm planning on putting a B230FT in it later next year, will I have to change the gearbox then?

The B230FB is a good engine. It has the 531 head and VX camshaft

You could add squirters and turbo pistons to reduce the CR or even just machine down the NA pistons a little.

It should be the M47, you will most likely break something while abusing it but the diff is still most likely to be the first thing to let go.
