Default Attention Parrot Bluetooth owners

I need some advice, I recently aquired a faulty sony stereo, thats miles better than my sony MEXBT2500, It needs repairing so the stereo will cost me £10 all together, the MEX8800 has the common ribbon cable fault.
However, I use my phone to stream music through the stereo.
Can the Parrot stream HIFI or a2dp music through it? Im tired of shouting at the radio when i need to talk to someone when Im driving, and as 940 owners know, the stereo is 'down there' out of sight.
If not, then Ill stick the repaired stereo on ebay.
Im using the nokia N8.
Im relatively new to Parrot, and so a quick education on what models there are and what they are really like to use.

Parrot kits use their own internal amp when streaming music, bypassing the headunit completely. Basically all EQ, volume etc settings are on the parrot kit connected directly to the speakers

Personally I would only use mine for calls, and keep all music through the headunit
