V70 T5 Injectors and Rail
Hi Guys,
I've got a fuel rail, complete with a injectors, sold to me as tested, from a 2001 V70 T5, which was broken for spares. It's a 395cc set. I found out a little late it wouldn't be suitable for my 850! Price: GBP 30 + 5pp Any questions? Let me know. |

Indeed I have a few questions. What were the reasons these were not suitable for an 850? Would it just be a questions of maps? What colour top are these injectors?

Hi,
I bought them locally in a bit of a hurry! They're Blue 395cc T5 1999+ injectors, and I'd need a remap on my 2.0 20v N/A 850 for them to work, without running rich. I gather this is going not commonplace and cost me money I don't want to spend! The issue I'm having at the moment, is a spitting, gone intermittent misfire gone terminal misfire on my rowing club's towing car, which I'm in charge of. The spark is fine, done lots of checks, a mechanic friend has looked at it and said it's a sticky valve or an injector. One of my existing injectors also clicks very loudly (wear?), which is why I am replacing them. I now just need to get hold of some 315cc orange ones. I'm also aware I posted this in the wrong place, and I have another post in the for-sale bit! If you have any more questions, let me know. Chris |
