Hi In my experience with my T5 i have had Khan which were very nice but kerbed very very easily, BOSS i had which were more solid, Now i have Volvo's BBS Tritons and are one of the best make of wheels in terms of looks and in strength.

Seem to remember that my local stockist for Super Leggers, said that they would not a Volvo.

Check out the wheels on this site http://www.evolvecars.com/, if you can afford the shipping, it may be another option.

Hi.

I have 18" Mille Miglia EV-S's on my C70 and they are great looking and very strong.

Got them from a place called Pro Tyre in Gloucester. Great service and advice I had too.

Try a look here:

Cheers,
Dan.

Hi Paul
Would you mind if I point out a little spelling mistake of yours, 18"s and Vulva's could be pretty painful :9 LOL

As you can see from other posts, the fitting of non-volvo alloys can cause problems, especially with bending of the rims.

These cars are heavy and if driven hard, can bend cheaper alloys that use inferior materials.

That's why the Volvo items are so damn expensive.

Your best bet, especially with your insurers, would be to source second-hand Volvo wheels of your favourite design (say Pegasus) and get them refurbed if they're not mint.

Another Simon has a nice set of R Alloys on Ebay, just waiting on a price.

Dan, do the 18"s give a harsh ride???? I think the S70 is just about right on 16"s, how hard are the 18"'s?????

Doorman, LOL at your reply and the spelling IS intentional ;)

Hi Paul.

I don't think you could call it harsh under any stretch of the imagination, but some may think it is on the hard side. It has certainly firmed the ride up over the 17s that were standard but I really do prefer the ride quality with the 18s over the 17s. The C70 was sold with 18s at one point so the standard tyre that goes on them still has a decent sized sidewall. Not like a rubber band as you would get going to 18s on an 850 or suchlike.

Cheers,
Dan.
