Yes indeed, excellent work. And look at those chassis rails!! If only....sigh...
I assume those floor dimples are for the floor mounted dip switch?

Retroford already make the boss for your clutch cylinder to T9 gearbox. Might be worth a chat to see if it fits. But I was not too impressed with them cutting partway through threads to make it fit so you might be able to come up with a better soloution. http://retroford.co.uk/shop2/index.php?cPath=24

Yes i saw that but don't fancy paying £169 for it. i know that included the slave cylinder but i already bought that for £30. They may sell the boss on its own but to be honest i will enjoy making my own. What do you mean about cutting through the threads? Have you seen one in the flesh? In the picture the bolt holes to fix the boss to the g/box look very close to the tapped holes for the slave cylinder.

Yes I had one previously and they are the holes I was talking about. The boss holes partially cut through into the tapped holes. Not that great for the money in my opinion but was informed it would not affect usage. Burton power sell a different one using another slave cylinder but that costs lots. Might be able to utilise some of the parts though. The bleed/supply kit they sell is good but not sure it will fit the slave you have. Another supplier is tilton they use another design using a threaded adaptor which allows you to move the slave into the right place then lock it off. Mainly for T5 boxes but again might give you another idea.

Hi Mark,

How are you getting on with your pivot and the balance bar fabricating and machining? What materials did you decide on?

Cheers,

Mitch

Hi Mitch

For now i am fabricating an exact copy of Dereck's pedal arm. I may look at machining one from aluminium billet later.

Hi
wondering if you could help me. I have been admiring your handiwork and I was wondering how you put together your crankshaft pulley - how big is it, is the trigger wheel separate, did you machine it yourself or can you recommend a supplier. I am just starting to megasquirt and Eaton 45 mine. also at the start of the thread you said that the old injectors were surplus to requirements - is this still the case?
Any help gratefully received
Also how is yours coming along - is there another thread that I am unaware of to the present day?

I''ve ordered a pulley and trigger wheel from Dale at http://www.avalancheperformance.com/ it should be what you need. Also an escort pulley and trigger wheel might also be an option, but I'm not sure whether they fit or could be made to fit.

Also the k jet holders can also be used with a modern high impedance injector, just needs bored to bit more depth I think. D jet will hold a modern injector as well I think.
