BKV Directions

Please Note.

The directions to Thoresby Hall in Driver are slightly misleading.

If you are looking for a roundabout for the A614 etc etc ON the A1, you will not find it since the A1 was remodelled and now completely bypasses the 'old' roundabout.

You need to be on the lookout after the Twyford Junction (going North) or the Bawtry/Blyth Services Junction (going South) for the new slip roads off the A1, sp A614 and A57, which will take you down to the old roundabout, then follow the directions as printed.

For information the new exit is signposted for A57 Worksop. Come off there, if arriving from the south then take the A614 at the roundabout at the end of the slip road, if arriving from the north then take the bridge across the A1 which will link you to the same roundabout.

I have posted in the 200,300 and 700 sections advising folks to visit here for an update.Maybe someone knows a better way of "Broadcasting it in all sections or updating the bkv stickies in each section.

I've just come up the A57 today and there is a sign saying that a section of it will be shut on the 17th.

The sign was by the Red Lion Pub at the junction of the A57 and Todwick Road.

So those coming from the M1 might want to take Junction 30 and then the A616 instead.
