Reversing sensor on 08 car

One of my rear sensor has gone and I need a replacement and I am confused.
Called Volvo and got part number 31445162 and was quoted £70.20 all in so did a bit of googling and found a German supplier who can supply at £55 shipped, also found part in USA for about $55-60. Nothing on Ebay at all to match this number.

I among all the searches I have seen notes like 'replaces part 31341344 (and also 31270911) so I googled this number and get lots of matches on Ebay at prices from £10 upwards. So what are the chances that the 31341344 will fit?

It's quite likely to be a direct replacement. Have a word with a local auto electrician they may be able to give advice. Failing that ,for tenner buy one and measure its resistance etc and compare to one of the good ones on your car. We had a set fitted to my wife's new car buy the suppliers at just under £300 ! They look lfor all the world like a kit I bought on eBay a couple of years ago for £20 including a cutting tool to fit them.

Thanks, you are right I can try one of the cheaper versions and hope for the best.
