soot filter problem
Hi , i know that this question has probably been asked before, BUT, i have a 2006 V70 D5, and, just had the soot filter, and, pressure sensor replaced, but it is still showing soot filter full, engine system service required, and wont drive as it should, would be greatful for any info on this problem, only had the car for 6 weeks before the soot filter warning came on, i do quite high mileage, so not like it's stop sart driving

Who replaced the soot filter? Have they reset the particle count and re adapted the pressure sensor. This is done via a diagnostic plug in ideally with vida the Volvo software. The temperature sensor also needs checking to make sure this is reading correctly. The oil level should be 3/4 on the dipstick and no higher. The old fault codes need deleting and the physical soot content in the new filter needs reading. These don't often give issues, most issues are caused by people
Changing parts for wrong reasons without having diagnostic that works properly with volvos.
