The fix in about 2014 was modified piston ring type seals on the main-shaft which requires the gearbox to Come out and removal of the oil pump assembly behind the torque converter for cases where the software is not enough... The dealers know all about this.

Annoyingly it only happened once over 500 miles but I guess a main dealer rather than a specialist will have to look at it eventually.
