Default V70 sloshing sound after rain

Hi
Basically there's a sloshing sound from the bulkhead area after rain in my 2008 V70, I know the solution is to remove the wheel arch liner and drill a hole to release the water, but where do I drill ?

I had this with my 2009 S80 from new. Cure was new windscreen - I suspect if you've not had this before that may be your problem. I think there is a technical note on the drilling a hole solution - ask a dealer.

hi i get the same problem, but there is no smell in the cabin.

The only visible sign is the sloshing noise, i have read that there is a technical service bulletin and the advice is to remove the wheel liner and drill a hole as you suggest.

I agree, I've had the wheel arch liner out but just don't know where to drill ?
Does anyone have a copy of the technical services bulletin ??
