Default Phone book

Ok so I have a 61 plate XC70 Inscription D5 215BHP manual
I also have an iPhone 6

When I first had the car the whole phone book was visible on the cars display screen, but for the last few months I only get around 20 names and numbers?

I have tried to disconnect the phone delete all the phone book from the car, told the phone to forget the car connection via Bluetooth and reconnected the phone but it still only lets me scroll through the same twenty people from the phones phone book, and they are a very random selection from the phone book some from the start middle and end but it always only shows the same people

Any one had similar issues and managed to solve the problem?
Not sure if it's a car problem or a setting in the phone?

Think but not sure it went wrong after the phone did a software update...

I have read that many issues with Bluetooth are due to the Phone needing an upgrade, but as yours has been upgraded perhaps you car is also in need of an upgrade. I would also look at where the numbers are stored on your phone, it may be that the car is only reading number stored on the sim or the phone, but not both.

No all numbers are stored on the phone none on the sim that was my first thought...
Car was services at Volvo a few months ago after the phonebook started playing up so if there was an update that should have been done?
But thanks

I have a pet name for Apple products, it starts with an 'S' and rhymes with 'height'! I think you need to get a better phone.
