Thanks Dave, getting excited at owning a 90 now 😂😂😂 what has my life come to 🤣
Been looked at a few now, I see what people mean about the R design, very basic inside. Looking at SE lux models and executive, seem to well spec'd up

Smile Condition and history is everything

Good luck with your search. Be prepared to do some miles looking for the right one.
With a budget of £12k in 2012 I walked away from ten before finding the right one.
So many were abused with part service histories and dodgy dealers claiming they were excellent, but they weren't.
If you check with your local Volvo dealer they can check the Volvo system and tell you what services have been logged by the dealers. It only gives the basic details but you can verify anything dealer stamped in the book this way.

Search this forum for how to display fault codes on the dash, (something to do with pressing a button and the fog light together and it will show which modules have fault codes stored on the dash display - very simple way of checking if anything is lurking, sure someone on here will confirm how to do it).

History and condition are everything. I ended up with just an SE but it has far more as standard than my new Mercedes and even now 6 years later with 143k on the clock absolutely everything works as it should.
These cars do not take kindly to basic servicing and OEM parts.
If it has dealer servicing this includes all the software upgrades as standard and will have transferable 12 month European breakdown cover which may be of interest to you

Finally the dark interiors seem to wear far better than the light ones. Don't know why but they just do.

Good luck
