V50drive - Low Battery Warning
Hi
My 2012 V50drive has the Start/Stop function and dual batteries. I've noticed that with engine turned off and when using the phone on bluetooth or the radio/cd, the 'Low Battery' warning appears very soon - after just a couple of minutes. Vehicle starts normally with no hesitation and no problems during what passed for 'winter' recently. Wondering if this is just situation normal for this vehicle, or if the batteries are nearing the end of their life. I can't see in any of the previous owners service receipts any evidence of replacement batteries being fitted, so it may be they are the originals. They do look potentially a bit of a nightmare to change - not just a simple + & - disconnect/reconnect! Thanks |

Ours did that at about 8yrs old. Replaced the battery, problem gone.

the second battery is only engaged when attempting to start, worth checking in vida if they reset calibration on the main battery.
