Watchfield Service Centre in Watchfield, Oxfordshire (near Swindon) is an independent Volvo specialist and have treated me well. They have a couple of 850Rs parked outside so you know they're legit.

Can anyone recommend a decent mobile mechanic in Warwickshire/West Midlands? I have a dead V70, suspect in tank fuel pump and have reached the limits of my very limited mechanical ability in replacing it. I have the new part, I just need someone to come and refit it for me.

I will shout up for Burton & Wilson in Lincoln. He is on the list but no mention of him.

I recently had the rear suspension bushes and arms changed on my 240 by him and an excellent job was done. He had even coated all the bolt threads in copper slip to avoid seizing. As he told me, it may be him that has to remove it at some point and it will make his job easier.

Done in a reasonable time and cost.

He deals with all ages of Volvo.

Hi Warkman, Luis here from Nuneaton.
Have you tried TMS in Hinckley, They arent indy but have been recommended to me. I saw they have good google reviews, too.
I'm having an issue with my V50 at the moment and considering paying them a visit.
I've booked an appointment with IVC in Nuneaton today for a diagnostics first.

I see that Braydons is still listed for London. They are closed down unless you accept their move to Sentinel in Silver Street is as good now! I don't.

Recommend Heath Dixon of Branch End Garage ,Stocksfield, Northumberland,(The old blue bell garage going up the bank to the blue bell pub on the Hedley road) he is a Volvo owner himself with modern diagnostic equipment, loads of experience.... a nice honest guy to deal with.
