I wouldn't worry.
Pop into Maplins, give them about 80 pence and you can build your own tuning chip.

Sorry I had replied for the purpose of "amusement" something that appears to be in short supply of on "Volvo Forums"

I would also like to thank you for the link at the bottom of your messages, having just watched one of the you tube videos I now have the perfect cure for insomnia......

Pete.

If you read the second comment on the post you'd realise I had the same engine.

I'm not a spokesperson but thought it would be nice to let you know I had already paid for the item so you knew sooner rather than later and could go on to make alternative arrangements.

Excellent. With over 2 million views on the channel, you're in good company although the videos aren't really aimed at you, what with you thinking tuning chips are worth fitting.

Don't watch too many of them. We wouldn't want you learning anything.

You should try renting out the videos on VHS or Betamax for those old and senile Volvo owners that don't have access to these highly enlightening forums, I am sure you would have great success.

BTW garages and service centres are the places to have work carried out on your car, saves all those dirty hands, another good reason to rent out your videos, you might be able to afford a "better car"

I hadn't read the second post to which you refer to, good luck with the race chip and hope it works well for you. You could always take the advice of "Cheshired" and de tune the car to make you boring too "Ouch"

Regards

Pete

Find the previous post where I said you should detune your car and I'll give you £1000.
If you can't find where I said it, you give me £1000.
Deal?
