I have an on-going issue with app updates whereby I received notification of updates for all my apps (for example weather/Wikilocations), but when I tried to install the update it constantly failed to install with an error report, apparently, being sent somewhere.
After multiple failed attempts over a number of days I decided to try an alternative approach where I uninstalled the apps with the intention of reinstalling them in the hope this would install the updated version. However, having uninstalled them it refuses to reinstall them with the same error message as with the updates and an error report sent. Any thoughts or advice would be welcome!

I have installed updates to all the apps today tem, only a short run into the village so far but no problems seem evident.
Just returned from a trip to Lincolnshire and Sensus crashed a number if times always coming back after a few seconds and the Start/Stop behaving erratically since I have reported this to Inverness Volvo but have agreed to wait for any further investigation for a few weeks, unless it gets worse, as I think there is a major software update in the pipeline for November. By the way tem, speaking to the service manager he is looking at the workshops not being on the sales site until April 2018! Pm me if you want the details

I have just been to collect my car from Inverness, it has been with them for 10 days, to address the problems mentioned in #1.
What has been the delay? I took until yesterday, for Volvo UK, (or Sweden) to issue software to the dealer for them to install. From the Warranty Invoice, a total software update has been carried out, calibration of Radar and Camera also carried out. What has changed? I now seem to have what some call the Pilots Check List. I missed it, when I first picked up the car, but the next time I started, a list of about 8/12 parameters briefly appeared in the Drivers Display. Apps? I only looked at the TuneIn App and it now asks for permission to share data. Not sure what this is about and for the meantime, I have not authorised it. Has anyone seen this request to share data? Now that I have the Check List, could this be the Sensus 2 upgrade, that was withdrawn, due to graphic problems? I now hope that problems, since April, have now been resolved, time will tell. As a footnote: I have been driving a brand new XC60 for the last 10 days, it only had 38 miles on the clock, when they gave it to me. I did have one of the very first MK1 XC60’s, the latest is nice, but I prefer the V90. tem.

Either that or you've just been enrolled into the latest beta testing programme. Congratulations.

I just had my car serviced today and now have the 'Sensus 2'. I see the checklist appearing each time I turn the car on.
Annoyingly my hopes to have the missing battery info in the VoC app fixed so far have been dashed as I'm not seeing anything about the battery. |
