Repair manual
I have a 2008 V70 T6 AWD. Haynes publish a manual for the V70 Diesel which I use for trim etc but form time to time I get stuck on engine, transmission etc.
Are the V70 T6 AWD engines and transmissions sufficiently common across the range that I could reliably use another manual for these systems? At the moment I rely on You tube for details of Haldex fluid and filter changes etc. Or any other ideas? Cheers. Robbie |

A copy of VIDA should give you all the technical info you need. You can find copies online or via eBay, etc.

I'm not referring to the diagnostic tool, but a repair manual. I thought the Volvo Vida workshop manual information was eye wateringly expensive and available as a subscription service only. If I'm wrong, please do point me in the right direction.
Thanks. Robbie |

VIDA contains pretty much everything a Volvo mechanic would need to be able to fix any model so that includes all the instructions, diagram, torque settings etc. You don't have to use it with the hardware interface (DICE) but that's were you really get your money back by being able to read your own fault codes. If you're passing Dinton one evening, give me a shout and I'll show you it working.

Hi Robbie, I'll have to get my copy of VIDA up and running again on new laptop first so I'll drop you a message with my contact details in next few days.
