Old t4 member
Hello guys
Haven’t been on here for a long time I’m currently running a mondeo mk4 tdci. After many years and many cars I am possibly looking at rejoining. This is my old t4. My favourite ever car. I miss it so much but moving house in the new year and my commute has opened up the possibility of having a T5. I am going to be looking at selling my car in the new year and getting a t5 so if anyone is planing on selling or even better wants a deal for a mondeo let me know |

Timeless styling. And epic build. Unfortunately their getting on now and not many left on the road. Mine suffered from cheap fuel knackering the engine up. Bloke who bought it broke it for parts. Very sad.

Loved my 2 T4's, the first one I had is still one of my favourite cars, first turbo car I had and I loved it!. I went from my 2nd T4 to an S40 T5 (which is still my all time favourite car, was gutted when I relocated and could't afford it on the longer commute), wierdly even though the T5 is faster on paper, standard it never felt as quick as the T4 (even though it was) the HPT on the T4 really makes them feel quicker, but the 5 cylinder noise from the T5 is awesome really missed that sound track.
Mind the T5 was a beast after the remap (shark were brilliant can't recommend highlu enough) and handled a bit better than the T4. Wierdly I too had a Mondeo TDCI after my T5, remap and DPF delete saw the mondy at 181bhp, and handled surprisingly well for a big car missed it when I sold it too. |

Nice to hear from someone who has had similar car history. The mondeo is a nice family motor. I really like it. It’s perky enough and only needs a fill up once a month. Like you said surprisingly good on the twisty roads. I think the t4 was such an underrated car. Cost me a small fortune but loved it. The only other car that took my fancy was a megane r26 but realistically I don’t know how the interior would stack up. One reason I loved my Volvo was it felt so solid. The remap sand upgrades on the t5 is another bonus. Since we have 4 focus st at our work and they share few things but I like being different. Plus you get son much for your money with the s40. A remap will be on the cards. Just buying my time atm. If people have pics and info on their s40/v50 t5s, would be interested to see what you have done
