Car is locked. On the drive outside. Been out and checked it. Had 2 notifications tonight from the app saying "your vehicle is unlocked".

Any ideas?

Not sure of the cause but maybe try locking the car with the app and see what happens.

Next time it happens open app go to another page like driver journal then back to home page and app should have updated to current status. I think Its just remembering status of last update when it was active and this stays until updated again..which happens when you open app and use it.

There is a new app update either yesterday or today fixing multiple bugs. Have you installed yet?

Opening the "Doors and Locks" section of the app always refreshes the car's current status.

I've had the same thing since yesterday afternoon. Car reported passenger door open at work after I'd been out to get something from the car (didn't start or move car) and also tailgate open when I got home (which was the last door open after I'd parked up and plugged in (XC90 T8).

In both cases refreshed app and also re opened and locked all doors but all still says the car is open. I suspect that it's a server issue with the car not being able to update the server correctly as I'm sure the app just reports what the server believes is the current setting.

I'll bet that this will resolve itself in a day or two😉

Just checked current installed app version is 4.0.6 but I see a new version is available so it's not the new app version. Will try new version and see what that gives.

Just installed new version 4.1.0 and still shows "tailgate open* even after refresh so I'm still believingit is a server side issue.

Interestingly parking climate timer has just kicked in and the app is now showing not only parking climate as on but also all doors locked. Guess the car reported a status change to the servers which included the true status of the doors along with parking climate.

i find the voc app just dumb not being able to set climate from the app. If you forget to leave everything set to MAX the night before its as useful as a chocolate teapot for getting the cabin up to decent temp

The preconditioning temperature (and parking climate temperature) are not designed to get to the set temp on the controls. From the manual (for T8 2018 at least) -

"Note
During preconditioning of the passenger compartment, the car works to reach comfort temperature and not the temperature set in the climate control system."

So not a problem with the app.

Only had a couple of frosty mornings since I've had the car and in the 10 mins the preconditioning has operated, the car is lovely and warm for me. I do have the preheater and the seats / wheel heaters set to come on though ;-).
