Default Fuel Remaining and Sat Nav Destination?

Yesterday, when I picked up my car from Volvo Inverness, I selected my Home destination, which was 108 miles, from Inverness.

I knew that I would not have enough fuel to get home and was going to stop at a Morrison’s Supermarket for something to eat and refuel at the same time.
The Sat Nav gave me the ETA for the destination and indicated that the next manoeuvre, would be to turn left at a roundabout, which was several miles past the supermarket.
Approximately 3 miles from the supermarket, I noticed a change in routing and the Sat Nav was taking me to the filling station at the supermarket.
There was no audible or visual information given for this change in route.

Have I missed something in 13 months of ownership, or is this feature new?
I had just collected my car, after a major software update had been carried out:

So are you saying the car realised you were running low on fuel and diverted you? That would certainly be a new one on me.

Talking of changes, I've noticed that since the last Sensus update I can manoeuvre the car with my seat belt off even if Auto Handbrake is on.

On my XC90, when running low on fuel, it always suggests navigating to a nearest filling station on your route via driver display. You have to accept or reject the suggestion, by pressing the middle button on the right hand side of the steering wheel. It could be that you pressed it without realising it.

That would be really useful. When was it applied?

I occasionally get caught out by popping my seat belt off to reverse and then the handbrake not releasing....

This was included with the Sensus 2 update, there is an option to be directed to nearest petrol station In driver display when low fuel level reached whether satnav is being used or not at the time. As previously stated you can toggle to accept or decline the directions. The message may disappear from driver display if another function is used or self cancel after a short while in display but not sure about that.

I did not have the low fuel warning, at the time of the rerouting.
The Drivers Display indicated another 95 miles.

Audible/Visual notifications?
Since getting the car back, I am getting Traffic Messages from the radio, normally I have this disabled in the Menue.
It is just possible that I received a Traffic Message at the same time and on cancelling this, via the right had key pad, deleted the route change notification.
At the time, I was driving in very heavy traffic and appalling weather.
I will need to go into the settings and see what has changed.

On collecting the car, I did ask if they knew if the latest Voice Control software was included in their update?
They said that they were not sure and for me to download it and see if it would update.

Things have certainly changed with the latest update:
Pilots Check List being displayed.
Certain apps now asking to accept data sharing, before one can use them.
What other updates have been installed, I am not sure?

I got the Sensus 2 update (and other updates presumably) when the car was serviced on 14 Oct.

I was taught to always take off one's seatbelt when reversing so it became an ingrained habit. When I got the XC90 it used to catch me out all the time.

I have never seen a pilot check list on my XC90 with sensus 2 or at any time prior to update.
Anyone got a screen shot of it.

It only appears briefly when starting the car.
There are list of parameters with green dots to indicate that there are no problems.
I do not think that I would be quick enough to get a photograph.
