2001 S60 Isofix Mounting Kit with Pics - Help!
Hi All
Bought an isofix mounting kit from my local volvo maindealer as my S60 doesnt have the isofix mounting. I've searched the forum and found a good few threads about this topic but nothing that matches exactly what i have. I've attached a few photos as I dont see how i can mount the kit i got. From reading it appears that you use the seat belt anchor points to mount. Cant see how the kit will fit using this method...Please help, pics attached.. First child due next week so under pressure to get it sorted. Thanks Brian |

Try:
http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories/ii/search.aspx if you just select model and leave the other boxes blank you should get a list to choose from http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories...a7f2&model=S60 2001&modelyear=S60 Last edited by Chris_Rogers; Nov 6th, 2010 at 18:15. |

The first link wont display any accessories for the s60 when i leave all other fields blank and the second link points to instruction number 30767762 which is the same number as the instruction manual ive received with the mounting kit. This isnt very detailed
This appears to be a front seat only mounting kit?? I asked for a rear and as you can see from the pics thats were im trying to install it. Was i given the wrong kit and if so does anyone know the part number for the rear kit? The parts department spent about 15 min picking out this one so wouldnt be surprised if its wrong cheers Brian |

That's the incorrect part, for sure. The correct one is a big black bracket that attaches to the stud there on the left of your 1st photo and the seat-belt clip. It is as easy as anything to fit.
Not sure if the part no is the same as that in my V70; the only number I can see is 14127, and not sure that that's actually the part number. Sorry, Ididn't keep the invoice. In case you're unable to get it sorted with your local dealer, bought mine from Jim in Parts at Kastner Volvo, Exeter 01392 201040

Thanks swedishandgerman
Part number is 30767764 and is suitable for S80 01-, S60, S60 R, V70, V70 R, XC70. This is the rear right (behind driver seat) The original kit i was given was for the front seat. Link below for more info http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories...VCC-249409.htm The pic below shows the part fitted in my 2001 S60. Need a 17mm socket for screw on right (torque to 40Nm / 30 ibf.ft) and 15mm socket for nut on left (torque to 30 Nm / 22 ibf.ft). 5 min job. Rear seat can be a bit sticky but just pull it up and it'll come out Hopefully this post will help other people out once they use the search function Brian |
