Default ECM Code 261A ?

After Removing and cleaning the ETM, and replacing a front wheel sensor, my Management light is still coming on?

Cleared the light yesterday by touching the terminals, but today the light has come back on.

My volvo is an XT model Vreg Auto.

Just had the codes read again...The only code that came back was ECM 216A Long Term Trim.
Would this be a hose leak, Maf Sensor or something else?

Car seems very sluggish when first driven in the morning. Fine when it warms up ??

Any ideas would be appreciated.

ECM 261A is Equivelent to a P1172 Code (On a Non Volvo Engine) ..

Yer options are as follows

* intake air leakage
* exhaust system air leakage
* defective heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)

Personally I'd go for a "Air intake leak" (Split pipe ect ...) ...

Hi Matt

Im assuming u meant 261A as 216A isnt listed as a fault code mate

High trim level
intake air leakage
-exhaust system air leakage
-low fuel pressure
-defective heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)

Lower limit:
-intake air leakage
-high fuel pressure
-leaking injectors
-defective mass air flow (MAF) sensor
-contaminated engine oil
-oil level too high
-defective heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)

ECM261A (P1171) usually results in a new MAF on a ME7 car.

If you can read live data have a look at the long term fuel trim figure.

Any idea where to start looking for a leak?

Thanks.
