Exclamation 2004 V40 Diesel Sport Luxury.

Ok, i think im buying a V50 tomorrow so looks like my V40 will have to make way for it.

Pictures first:

2004 Volvo V40 1.9 D Sport Luxury in Aluminium Silver.

MOT 10 Months.
Taxed 6 Months.
119000 Miles.

Timing belt kit replaced, front and rear discs and pads replaced and service carried out 1300miles ago.

This is a top of the range V40 with the following from the factory inside:

Full black Leather interior with electric driver seat.
Leather sport 3 spoke steering wheel.
Front and rear leather armrests.
2 cup holders front, 2 rear.
8 airbags including curtain airbags front and rear.
CD player with combined voice Sat nav (awaiting discs ive bought for this)
Upgraded 8 speaker (1 subwoofer) audio system.
Cruise control.
4x Electric Windows.
Electric Mirrors.
Remote central locking.
Fitted Volvo floor mats.
Fitted Volvo rubber boot liner.
Multi-function computer showing MPG, distance to empty etc.

On the outside as standard:
17 Volvo 'Arcadia' alloy wheels.
Front darkened lights and indicators.
Front lower spoiler.
Rear spoiler.
Colour coded.
Silver door handles,
Clear side markers.

I have fitted a set of Heko wind deflectors (easily removed) and Xenon lights as some have them standard. I think these look good on the car.

Unfortunately i have no service record for the car, although its had a full service 1300 miles ago, and i have a VOSA printout to verify mileage.

To be perfect, i would say the drivers wing and bonnet need a paint as theyve been done before with not a great finish.

This is a great looking and driving car which is very reliable, plenty of power, good on fuel and is in the cheap tax bracket due to low emissions. There is plenty boot space and its even bigger with the rear seats folded down.

Great all round car ready to go.

Taking the small downsides, i have priced the car low to hopefully sell.

£2900ovno.

Looks amazing mate, good luck with the sale! Yours is higher spec than mine and has some really nice mods on it! I actually think that has every single optional extra on it!

Thanks folks, i do really like the car and everyone in this section, but after a test drive in the V50 its a completely different, more modern car. At the price its hard to refuse too!

What do you think of the price of my V40?

Theres only one on Ebay, at £5500 so might be worth a punt on there to get rid..
