electric windows..
Were working...then drivers door turned into a really lazy git. An inch, then stops for a while, then another inch...etc.
Then, randomly just stop working both. Drivers door/Passenger door. Advice? Help? Please thankyou. |

RE: electric windows..
Hi
Could just be the age of the car. (I always harp on about mine!) I have an M plate 440, and the passenger window is a pain. Its very slow, and sometimes gets an inch from the top then just stops. In the winter i sometimes have to push the last inch with my hand and holding the button down. I've tried lubrication, ive tried oiling, and dismantling, oiling, and re-assembling but alas! It's a pain, but i just have to live with it! Later, Dan M

RE: electric windows..
You could try the old dodge of a little WD40- sprayed carefully onto the window guides, yes the plushy things that fit in the door frame. It is also possible that they may have become bent at the bottom (inside the door) or even the fixing bolt has worked a little loose. All the best, Peter |
