I Did see a UK eBay seller but they wanted £120 which I thought was a bit steep for what presumably was the same item all the other sellers where offering for around the 70 quid mark

Thanks for that, Is it the multi coloured led type and does the supplied software work on any windows.

Well, if you buy from a UK seller, there's no risk of getting additional VAT etc. added to the item at Customs, so a higher price may be expected, but £50 extra? And I wonder what sort of come back you would have if anything did go wrong. After all, a UK seller will be of the same order of trader as someone selling fake Rolexes at a car boot sale.

The seller linked to above says he's based in Spain in his profile, yet claims to be a UK seller in the advert. That doesn't fill me with confidence.

Buying stuff we know to be less than legitimate is always going to be a minefield.

I reckon I may just go back to the seller I got my original kit from.

Just to update this, I got mine from obd2tool.co.uk for around $135 USD. It shipped from China with tracking via DHL and arrived in approximately 3 days. It came with Vida 2013d and both the software and dice tool (which has the multi coloured LEDs) are fully working up to now. I will update this if I have any problems with the DiCE unit.

OK, I pick my C30 R Design up tomorrow after defecting from Honda, and as I'm a bit OCD I'm getting diagnostics organised before they are needed!
I've read a few threads regarding DICE/VIDA, and have successfully got VIDA 2014A running on my laptop (Alienware Win7x64+IE11) and assume that as VIDA is running that attaching a DICE should be the easy bit......
@[rob27] is your DICE from obd2tool.co.uk still working satisfactorily?
