Default Volvo V60 service reset

More for reference as I just had to do a service reset on my 2012 V60.

1 ign off, with key in and Trip set to T2.
2 Hold Trip button and while holding it then also hold the Start/Stop button until all the ignition lights appear.
3 Let go of the Start/Stop button, but keep holding Trip until the yellow “ï” light flashes, then let go of Trip (n.b. if you hear a beep then you have held the Trip button for too long before letting go).
4 Test that the reset has worked.

My service reminder has been showing for about 2 months, having activated six months early. i'll give this a try and see if it works. Thanks.

Hi. I tried your reset procedure to eradicate the false "Book Service" reminder I have on my11 XC60, but no joy. I have released the T2 trip button after the "i" light goes out and and before the beep but there is no flashing of the "i" light.

Perhaps the V60 is different from the XC60 in this regard?

Found a video on YouTube. Success - message gone! I found that it only worked if I kept both the T2 button and the START/STOP button pressed together until the "i" light flashed three times. . The video stated that there must be mileage registered on the trip for this to work but that wasn't the case with me as both T1 and T2 were zeroed.
