1800E spare wheel
Can anyone tell me how the spare is secured in the 1800E's boot please.
Is it straps or a hold down bolt, the parts catalogue appears to show both. |

A single rubber strap holds the spare wheel of my 1800E.

Found this image, that must be the strap bracket on the RH wheel arch? I'll have to fabricate one. mine wasn't even rust. 001.jpeg |

Check the boot floor underneath your spare wheel, if there is a cut out in the boot floor then the spare wheel in your car is held down with a J shaped stud, large 'washer' type disc and a butterfly nut.
