Volvo 940 TD "Saloon"

Hi and welcome to the sale of my much loved car.
I am a Volvo enthusiast for many years and have owned many different retro Volvo's over the years and this car is the one that I have owned the longest.
I have spent a considerable amount of time and a small fortune on this car to get it to a very good standard, see below a summary of the work completed.

***Exterior***
- Upgrades of the 960 lights to the rear "White indicators"
- Upgrades of the 960 lights to the front "White indicators"
- The Eggbox grill was upgraded from a Turbo car and really sets the front end off well.
- Rear wing was added from a Turbo car and again add's to the sport image.

***Interior***
- The interior was replaced with a grey leather interior from a 960 which is in excellent condition, very comfortable and electric.
- Interior wood effect dash trim was added and again is a good addition to the interior of the car.

***Engine***
The head of the engine was remover for internal inspection - head, bores, pistons all good condition.
The engine gets oil and filters changed with premium oil and filters every 4000 miles.

- New mild steel head gasket
- New head bolts
- New oil sump gasket
- New oil pump gasket
- New crank oil seal
- New water pump
- New timing belt
- New idler
- New front cam oil seal
- New rear cam oil seal
- New cam cover gasket
- New coolant thermostat
- Reconditioned injectors with Monark nozzles
- New coolant temperature sensor
- New Voltage regulator
- New pump timing belt
- New glow plugs
- New full exhaust system fitted

The engine has been properly set up to exact specifications as per Volvo/VW green book and starts perfectly and pulls strongly – with none of the usual miss fire or smoke.

***Suspension/brakes***
- New disks and pads front and rear
- Suspension taken apart on front and bushes replaces
- Upgrade Turbo sub frame brace fitted

***Wheels/Options***
The car is currently fitted with a set of Aurigas wheels and are in excellent condition with good thread on tyres.
