15.8 can communicate with Dice and Vida but 15.7 I think it's Vol-FCR required immediately prior to Vida but asking in the P1 V70/850 section would confirm.

If you give me your 17 digit chassis number, I can check Vida.
Yes the VOL FCR could do diesel timing. I own it but I never used it for that purpose.

I have succesfully installed Vida on a mac hosted virtual machine. The test did not came at a huge suprise. There is a fault shown at the accelerator pedal ECM-033 and one for EGR control - Faulty flow ECM 0038. I will probably erase all the errors posible and go for a drive, to see which of them is actually active and do a fuel pump diagnostics.

Yaaaaaaaayyy. I fixed the slow response. Indeed the accelerator pedal is a bit off it gets to only 60% flat down, but the cause of the lag was a 10 amp fuse under the bonnet number 8. ACC something..

Yeah, i cant believe it myself. I asked on a local facebook group if anybody knows somebody with a vida dice to plug my car on. And a random guy replied: I have it and I am willing to sell it because i have sold my Volvo. Picked it up in an hour for 50€, thats 40 quid? Or is it 50 now due to bexit Downloaded a virtual box vida dice and set it up on my macbook. The most time consuming part was cleaning my 128gb ssd drive to enable enough space to install virtual machine and getting the damn usb stick to work both with windows and mac. I have still found some other problems one being a failty glow plug relay(good thing its 20°C) and a faulty engine fan module (bad thing its 20°C). So for now the car will only work on a room temperature

Oh and the accelerator position analog sensor still shows minimum reading of 8% and max reading of 60% absolutely floored. That doesn't sound right, does it?

But at least the throttle response is instantaneous now!

If anybody wants to know the epilogue to the story. The fuse worked for sometime and then it seemed that it randomly got blown again. It was not random, it had blown every time the car cooled down completely. I started suspecting the glow plug relay to be at fault, printed out various wiring diagrams and indeed it had a loom together with the fuse number 8. It turned out to my surprise that the glow plug relay was not seated correctly, it was only half way in. Pushed it all the way in and now everyting is working for the past 14 days. Knock on wood and I hope it stays that way

Can anybody tell me what readings shows up on yours TPS. Mine goes only from 8-60%. Is that normal?
