Default Detailing - Feynlab Ceramic - Opinions welcome.?

Hi
I have my 3rd XC60 (Electric Silver) arriving in Sept which as per previous cars will be fully detailed upon collection.

My local detailer is now recommending the FEYNLAB CERAMIC product which is new to me.

Are there any forum members who have come across this product?
Your opinions would be welcome.

Whatever you get do not get from the dealer. Find a good detailer to apply it but they would also recommend what and why.

My understanding is if you are into detailing then you get the most out of ceramic and it will look a bit better but if you are prone to be neglectful and just going to two bucket it with ONR then opticoat is less hassle.

They claim to have formulated the other ceramic nano coats on the market as an OEM before marketing on their own. Their reputation is good, I believe you can select between more gloss vs more durability in their products/ application methods.

Did you have Gtechniq before? Some detailers won’t use the top Gtechniq product because they have to pay a license. My XC60 has Gtechniq- C1 I think - the one that didn’t need the license. My Gti had Keno (excuse spelling) applied. This is up there with the top Gtechniq. Personally I can’t tell the difference lol.

The one you mentioned I’ve never heard of. Doesn’t mean it’s not as good as Gtechniq. If you trust his work then go with his advice.

Seems we’re both getting our cars in September. Mine is late September as we are away - so should all be ready upon coming home.

You have a good memory from 3 years ago - yes, it was Gtechnig last time. Must admit I have been very impressed with how it's performed over last 3 years and would happily go for it again without question.

Likewise, mine is due last week in Sept......and we are both switching from D5's to T5's as well.
Whilst most "Toy Option" boxes are ticked, I am now considering the 4-Zone Climate option having read various positive reviews on this forum recently.
Did you consider this one as we both have similar tastes?

Opticoat have a new product out, Opticoat Pro Plus I think it's called. Swmbo's new XC60 will have it applied by Matt @ Obsidian Detailing. Then to aid beading and gloss will just spray the car with Carpro Hydro2 Lite every few months. Feynlab are supposedly excellent but ceramics aren't for everyone.

@Crocker.
Feel like I am stalking you - in that I have also added the 4-Zone climate option today. Saw several videos featuring it and as several members have stated it gives the rear passenger section a much enhanced feature in more ways than one.
