Default inertia fuel cut off switch

Are these fitted to 945's (95) ? If so where is the re-set button ?

TIA Kevin

Just going to give this a bump as when my ford scorpio estate got whacked up the jacksy the inertia fuel switch tripped and shut off the fuel and hence stopped the engine.Luckily the car was still driveable but if I hadn't known how to reset the inertia switch to get the fuel/car going I would have been stranded for hours.

All the best Kevin

I'm not aware of a fuel cut off switch.
Is the car not starting then?

Not aware of one either, there is a roll over valve, it is a small canister near the fuel tank that shuts off fuel flow if inverted. Now I am not sure, if it's my '94 or an old 240 I used to have, that had it.

Hi niloc,no problem with the car, just wanted to know if an inertia safety switch was fitted and to find out where it was in case of an accident.
Being new to Volvos but knowing there reputation for safety I thought it was the sort of thing that would be fitted.......one less thing to go wrong though if there isn't one !

Cheers Kevin
